Google streetview cars

For a couple of weeks Google cars have been cruising through Amsterdam. I have seen them drive around the city several times. Sometimes there was just one, another time there were three of them together. On one occasion it was like they were having a street race.

But I believe they are done in Amsterdam.

These pictures where take two weeks ago when I was driving home. They show eight cars on trailers heading back home. Notice the strange aparatus on the roof of each car? This contains the recording device. When the cars are driving around it is in an upright position, but I guess this is akward when transporting them on a trailer.
